Turning Old into New

When you step through the doors of the Triangle Gallery today, you'll notice a real love of reclaimed finds by the artists and artisans of The Collective show.

The floor joists from an old church have been transformed into a smooth bench. Jewellery and pillows have been created from found materials.

Lily Dustbin scouts thrift stores and garage sales for items for her jewellery, creating a mini collage in her bottle cap pendants and pins. (below)








At Knotted Nest, the hunt is for vintage fabrics that can be crafted into wallets, table runners and book covers. (below)



And from Things from Secret Minouette Places there are pillows designed from a mix of fabrics which are block printed with whimsical designs, old turned into new. (below)
