Nature

Calling all nature lovers.

There is plenty to choose from here at the Collective show, from art to jewellery to woodwork.

Artist Debbie Cooke, who normally works on large canvasses, has a series of bold nature abstracts that depict ponds, lilies and rivers.

Susy Martins' delicate paintings incorporate botanical flower pigments right into the paper.

If you love natural stone then take a look at the sculptural pieces by Anice Jewellery.  Jeweller and goldsmith Brittany Hopkins has added Peruvian opal, quartz, turquoise and jade to her work.  Stones have their own magic, she explains.

Wood worker Victor D always surprises us.  His wooden pieces, including his tables and bowls, are all made from salvaged wood. We particularly like his bowls.  Carved from fallen trees, they are a perfect reminder of the power
of nature.
